The Music and Dance Academy
- is an independent
department
within the UTCC-T_W U T C,
and has a special unique
character, meaning and roll
both through it's subjects,
contents and the holistical creativity
development processes within all the
units/ departments within the World-
University Center.
So the music and dance creativity
theories and methods have an i
mportant leading roll in the
developing process of the demanded
consciousness levels of the
worlduniversity-sciences,
therin the T_Creativity developing
metods take one of the most
important places. This is available
otherwise too, because the high
music and dance creativity levels
have a strong connection with the
consciousness level.
Furthermore the aim of this music
and dance academy is (without the
above mentioned) to help the
planetary development proccesses
of music and dance culture, art and
science to a higher level through
helping the general/universal
understanding of these enormous
rolls and possibilities which they
can have in the developing progress
of Man, the society and the total-
earhtly culture and civilization.
Furthermore to help the
understanding of the necessarity
to lift the present music and
dance creativity level and the
created product-quality, mm.
The music and dance academy
will realize all the above
mentioned through helping it's
UTCC_T_WUTEC-integrated
educational and developing
system, and therewithin the
wide possibilities witch the
academy can offer within (1) the
education and developing of music
and dance artists, and scientists in
the new listing/classing of the
academy and (2) through/within it's
multicultural and global different
type of activities with it's new
subjects, theories and methods
classing - in collaboration with
other intrested institutes,
organisations, companies, etc.

The idea of etablishing this type
of Music and Dance Academy
(and the academic complex)
was born already during the
Transsylvanian 'VENYIGE-Dance-
House-Movements, and goes
back to the 70-80's to its cultural-
scientific core of genesis as The
Music and Dance Folkloristic
Center (1977-1989) in the city
of Odorheiul-Secuiesc/
Székelyudvarhely, in Harghita,
in East-Transylvania, (Romania)
- and has grown untill its
realisation into the above Music
and Dance Academy, within the
cultural-academical complex,
UTCC-T_W'U'T'C:I.T'E.K-,TEKIA
& W.U.T.E.C.S.
In collaboration with I.T'E.K's
foreign section in Transylvania
in Romania, the Culture House
in the town Odorheiul-Secuiesc/
Székelyudvarhely and with the
Culture Departement in Harghita
county, we have initiated one of
the projects of I.T'E.K, that of
the establishing of an
International Academy for
TotalEthno-Culturology, with
Music and Dance-departments,
called Akademia EthnoKultura/
ITEK-Transylvania.

The ITEK-Academy in
Transylvania, with its seat in
the Culture House in the town
of Odorheiu-Secuiesc/
SzékelyUdvarhely, was started
on september the 16th 1995
with the Music- and Dance-
Cultural department.
The number of
registrated students was 75
with heterogeneous cultural
and educational backgrounds.
